How your data works
TritonPanels has no account to delete — there is no sign-up, and your library, settings, bookmarks and reading progress are stored on your device. That means you are in control: clearing the App’s data or uninstalling it removes that data from your device. Below is how to clear everything cleanly.
1. Clear your data in the App
- Open TritonPanels.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Clear data / Reset to remove your library, collections, reading lists, bookmarks, notes, progress and cached pages.
This removes the App’s on-device data. Comics you imported into the App are deleted; comics that live in your own cloud storage are untouched and remain in your cloud account.
2. Disconnect cloud storage
If you connected a cloud provider, disconnect it so the App no longer holds an access token:
- In the App, go to Settings → Cloud storage and tap Disconnect for each provider.
To fully revoke access, also remove TritonPanels from your provider’s connected-apps settings:
- Google Drive: myaccount.google.com/connections → TritonPanels → Remove access.
- Dropbox: dropbox.com/account/connected_apps → TritonPanels → Disconnect.
- OneDrive / Microsoft: account.microsoft.com/consent/Manage → TritonPanels → Remove these permissions.
3. Uninstall (optional)
Uninstalling TritonPanels removes the App and all of its on-device data from that device.
4. Cancel your subscription
Clearing your data does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. You must cancel separately:
- Apple App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → TritonPanels → Cancel subscription.
- Google Play: Play Store app → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → TritonPanels → Cancel subscription.
If you don’t cancel, the subscription will renew at the next billing date even after you’ve cleared the App.
5. Data held by our sub-processors
A small amount of data sits with our sub-processors rather than on your device:
- RevenueCat holds your subscription state, keyed to an anonymous identifier (not your name or email).
- Sentry may hold anonymised crash traces for up to 90 days, then deletes them.
- Apple / Google hold payment records under their own retention policies. We do not control those records.
To request erasure of data a sub-processor holds about you, email privacy@tritonapps.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. We respond within 30 days (the maximum window under GDPR Article 12) and may ask you to confirm a detail or two to locate the record.
