How Switch plays

• Match the top card. On your turn play a card of the same suit or the same value as the card on top of the discard pile.
• Stack same-value cards. Got two of a kind? Lay them down together. Three of a kind? Even better.
• Special cards have powers. Aces are wild for suit — play one and choose the new suit. Twos make the next player draw two. Eights skip. Jacks reverse the direction. Jokers are full wilds — choose both the new suit and the new value.
• First to empty their hand wins. Last card down without breaking a rule takes the round.

The full rules — including all special-card behaviour, the joker chooser, and the scoring options — live in-app under Profile → Rules → Switch. Every move is validated server-side, so it’s structurally impossible to cheat or to see another player’s hand.
